The Artistic Reappearance of Conxi Rosique in Sant Feliu

A Retrospective Look at the Art of Conxi Rosique

Conxi Rosique returns to the artistic scene of Sant Feliu with an exhibition that reflects her creative evolution. Dubbed “The stunt of calm”, this retrospective exhibition, curated by Valentín Lozano and Joaquín Hernández, offers a broad view of his work, which includes a total of 126 pieces.

Rosique expresses his intention to resume the cycle of retrospectives, offering a unique perspective of his artistic experience. The exhibition is nourished by the duality between light and darkness, exploring the synthesis between his personal expression and his technical prowess.

Exploring New Horizons in Artistic Composition

The painter experiments with theories of composition, fusing academic techniques with a touch of creative rebellion. This amalgamation of perception codes gives rise to unique pieces that distill an original and vigorous imprint.

The exhibition presents a variety of techniques and formats, from non-figurative compositions to pieces made with Chinese ink and acrylics. Works such as “Toledo” and “From the Albaicín” stand out, captivating with their visual depth and chromatic richness.

Life in the Paintings of Rosique

Rosique incorporates symbolic elements such as flowers and lights, which infuse life and movement into his creations. Through a collaboration with the City Council, one of his works, “El Silenci del traç”, joins the cultural heritage of Sant Feliu, enriching the local artistic landscape.

His paintings, loaded with meaning, are complemented by texts inspired by figures such as the peace activist Thích Nhất Hạnh. In addition, Rosique gives life to the verses of the local poet Joana Raspall through vibrant illustrations, as in the case of the book “Solcs”.

A Trajectory in Constant Evolution

Visitors to the exhibition have the opportunity to retrace Rosique’s artistic career, from its beginnings to the present. In addition to her artistic production, Rosique stands out as a teacher and collaborator in various educational publications. His commitment to the local artistic community is reflected in his participation as a member of the Fine Arts Circle of Sant Feliu and as a jury in drawing competitions.

With a future full of promise, Rosique is already preparing new projects for the future. The exhibition, which can be visited until April 28, offers a unique opportunity to explore the creative universe of this versatile artist.
