A new microteatre wind
La Pobla de Montornès has once again experienced a unique theatrical experience, immersed in the world of microteatre. This innovative format, which gains adherents to various places, was the protagonist in the third contest ‘Actua’, with short works that do not exceed 20 minutes.
An unexpected triumph
The group Mataró Pamboli Teatre has won the victory with their work ‘Varietés Martines & Martines’, a piece that pays tribute to the theatrical tradition. The popular voting system allowed the public to decide who deserved the first prize, thus turning the audience into the protagonist of the gala.
Stage diversity and local talent
The competition was attended by three companies. In addition to the winners, Peixospeixeres Teatre presented the play ‘Pu-Pu-Put, Ai, Tx, Tx, Tx!’, While the female duet formed by Mireia Ros and Marta Hernández contributed his work ‘Work interview’.
Special Recognitions
The gala also rewarded the best actor, Ramon Pros de Peixospeixeres Teatre, and the best actress, Mireia Ros, thus emphasizing the individual talent that shines inside the collective.
A presentation with personality
The presentation of the event was given by Nadine Osacar and Yolanda Borràs, of the local theater group Daltabaix, created by the charismatic characters of the Rovira sisters. In an unexpected time, Yolanda Borràs surprised the audience with a monologue during the scrutiny of votes.
A space for participation
One of the most distinguishing features of ‘act’ is its interactivity. Not only is the audience a spectator, but also plays an active role in selecting the winning work, generating an atmosphere of complicity and enthusiasm. This year’s proposals have been varied, with a great dose of humor that has captivated the audience.
Encouraging Local Culture
Not only celebrates small format theater, but also an initiative to revive the cultural life of the population. With free access, the event seeks to foster artistic creation and community participation, although limited capacity recommends arriving in advance to guarantee a good place.
