A Season Full of Surprises
The Casa del Teatre Nu, located in Sant Martí de Tous, opens its doors to a new theater season that will extend until July, with an offer that includes more than thirty performances and around twenty different shows.
A Beginning With Argentine Theater
Recently, the program kicked off with a series of days dedicated to Argentine theater, presenting two works selected from the call for Ibero-American residencies: ‘Miss’ by Rosina Fraschina and ‘Las despedidas’ by Cia. El Asombro, both from Buenos Aires and programmed within the ‘Window to the World’ cycle.
A Comprehensive Cultural Project
The Casa del Teatre Nu is not just a space for theatrical production; it is a nucleus of artistic creation that encourages collaboration with other companies through residencies. This initiative seeks to establish links with the community, making the theater an accessible and meaningful place.
Diversity and Inclusion
This season’s programming presents a rich variety of shows that include theater, puppetry and interdisciplinary installations, with the aim of connecting with a wide spectrum of audiences, balancing tradition and contemporaneity.
Thematic Cycles and Innovative Proposals
After the start of the season, viewers will be able to enjoy a diversified program organized into thematic cycles.
Activities for the Whole Family
The ‘Tous en família’ series will offer shows designed for all ages, with narratives that promote connection between generations. The first proposal, ‘Rere l’ombra de Peter Pan’ by Produccions Essencials, will premiere on January 25.
Space for Emerging Creativity
The ‘Creative Emergencies’ program will include innovative works such as ‘Solo vine a ver el jardín’ by Carns Soltes and ‘Memento Mori’ by La Sibil·la, as well as other proposals from emerging artists.
Local Artists and Community Initiatives
The season will also highlight local talents, with performances by Joaquim Valls and Francesc Mas, as well as the show ‘Vida d’artista’, as part of the ‘Cap butaca buida’ initiative, which promotes universal access to culture.
The Long-Awaited Premiere of ‘Numa’
One of the most anticipated moments will be the premiere of ‘Numa’ on February 15th and 16th, a puppet production born from the collaboration with Irene Santos, which explores themes of generosity and creativity.
A Season That Fosters Connection
The season will culminate with the 16th Festival de Llegendes de Catalunya, from July 3 to 6, followed by two performances of the season-ending play by the Elenc artístic de Lledoners. With this programming, the Casa del Teatre Nu reaffirms its commitment to local culture and artistic diversity.
