Advance tickets on sale
From Monday 24 June, advance tickets can be purchased for the twenty-fourth cycle of El Misteri de la Selva performances. Tickets are available through the Entràpolis digital portal.
Ease of purchase
The performances of the Assumptionist Selvatana piece aim to reach the maximum number of audiences and they do so in a simple way. The electronic purchase process allows buyers to see in real time the locations available and select the desired ones for any of the two representations of Misteri selvatà.
Prices and availability
Tickets can be purchased at a price of 12 euros per person through the Entràpolis portal. In addition to online sales, a portion of the seats are reserved for sale at the box office before each performance, both on August 14 at 10 p.m. and on August 15 at 8 p.m.
Special activity
The Board of Trustees of El Misteri de la Selva has scheduled a special activity for Thursday 27 June to start rehearsals for this year’s performances. In addition to bringing together the actors and singers, a call has been opened for people interested in theater, with a free theater workshop in Plaça de les Pletes de la Selva del Camp, led by actresses Roser Martínez and Cristina Masdeu, followed by a snort.
History of the Mystery of the Jungle
El Misteri de la Selva, dating from the 14th century, is a jewel of Catalan theatre. It is the oldest theatrical piece preserved entirely in Catalan, recovered in the middle of the 20th century and performed since 1980 in Selva del Camp.
