A new stage for the Sant Jordi Association

In a night full of excitement and anticipation, the Sant Jordi Association held its regular May meeting. On this occasion, there were significant changes in the direction of the association, with the inauguration of a new president and the presentation of the Jordiet for the current year.

Martín Bellvert Seville, the new Jordiet

In an exciting draw, Martín Bellvert Sevila, from Filà Domingo Miques, was chosen as Jordiet for the year 2024. This is a great opportunity for Martín to represent the patron saint of the Alcoiana party and bring joy to all participants and spectators.

Paco García Carrillo, the new president

In a widely majority vote, Paco García Carrillo, party member of the Filà Judios, was elected as the new president of the Sant Jordi Association. With a long career in the party and in different positions on the Board of Directors, Paco brings great experience and passion to the presidency.

A new chapter for Filae

In addition to the changes in the direction of the association, the new positions of the participating filaes were also presented. The filaes Aragonesos and Abencerrajes accepted the task of carrying out their captaincies, presenting Saoro Albero and Indalecio Carbonell as representatives, respectively.

Likewise, the filaes in charge of the ensigns offered the traditional bond and presented their ensigns. Pepe Cortés, from the Filà Andalusos, will be the Christian ensign, while Ana Gisbert, from the Filà Marraskech, will be the first woman to hold this position.

A promising future

With these changes and new additions, the Sant Jordi Association begins a new stage full of excitement and commitment to the Alcoa festival. All the members of the association and the revelers are excited to live this unique experience and continue to enrich the Sant Jordi tradition.
