A resounding success in the Catalan Trail Cup
The Club d’Atletisme de la Pobla de Segur (CAPS) has achieved great success in the Catalan Trail Cup, which was held on Sunday in Ulldemolins, in the Priorat. In this context, during the third and penultimate day of the competition, the Poblata club has won a total of 10 medals, demonstrating its dominance in this sporting event.
Several wins in different categories
In the 5k test in the Under 18 female category, the CAPS athletes stood out, with Alba Pont taking first place and Agnès Feliu, also a member of the club, in second place. On the other hand, Guerau Creixells, Under 20 athlete, obtained a creditable third place after finishing seventh in the half marathon of the Montsec Ultra Trail.
In the 3.5k event in the Under 16 category, Rabab Ouzemmou won the gold medal, while Guerau Carrillo of Sort achieved an outstanding third place. In the Under 14 category, Valentí Franch achieved second place, consolidating him in the final classification of the Catalan Cup in third position.
In the Under 10 category, Khadija Madani and David Sadovici repeated the first position, while Aitana Farré obtained the second position in the final classification. Fedot Sadovici, CAPS athlete and resident of Tremp, who won the 1/2 Trail Les Ermites with an outstanding time, should also be highlighted.
