The return of the heat: Weather forecasts by Roberto Brasero

An unexpected winter at the gates of spring

The weather conditions have been the protagonists in recent days, with a notable drop in temperatures that has reminded many of the rigors of winter. Roberto Brasero, an expert in meteorology, has highlighted that this week we have experienced a drastic decline, with negative records in several parts of the territory.

Extreme temperatures in emblematic areas

Baqueira Beret has been one of the coldest places, reaching -8 degrees, while the Port of Navacerrada has recorded minimums of -4 degrees. These temperatures have been a reminder that winter, although in its final stage, has not completely died out.

The imminent heat forecast

With the aim of reassuring the population, Brasero has announced that from this Thursday, temperatures will begin to recover, moving us away from this cold and wintry environment. The thermometers will show more pleasant values, close to normal for this time of year.

The influence of DANA

However, the weather situation will continue to be complex, especially in the province of Valencia and in some areas in the south. The DANA (Weak Area of Isolated Clouds) will continue to leave its mark, with rain that can be intense in several regions.

AEMET rain forecasts and warnings

The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has warned about the possible accumulations of rain, which could exceed 100 liters per square meter in areas of the southwest. Málaga and Valencia will be two of the most affected provinces, with forecasts indicating significant accumulations.

The road to meteorological calm

As the days progress, the storms are expected to lose intensity. Starting Saturday, DANA could move towards the Atlantic, reducing the likelihood of precipitation and bringing an improvement in weather conditions to much of the country.

Looking to the future

With the forecast of an increase in temperatures, many are waiting for the transition to a more spring-like climate. However, recent weather instability reminds us that weather surprises can still occur. Nature always has its way of surprising us.
