The search for those investigated by Tsunami: National Court requires location within 24 hours

Movements in research

After the announcement of the summons of Carles Puigdemont and Ruben Wagensberg by videoconference, justice continues the search process for those investigated in the Tsunami case

In particular, the judge Manuel García-Castellón of the National Court has issued a provision demanding knowledge of the address of those under investigation within 24 hours, following the steps of the high court.

Requirements for the citation

This request for location is a fundamental requirement for the summons of the defendants, who include personalities such as ERC leader Marta Rovira, journalist Jesús Rodríguez and the head of the Office of former president Carles Puigdemont, Josep Lluís Alay.

The judge distinguishes between those under investigation who have legal representation and those who do not, demanding the collaboration of the Civil Guard for the location of the latter.

Differentiation of the investigated

Those investigated who already have legal representation must communicate their location through their lawyers. On the other hand, for those investigated without representation, the intervention of the Civil Guard has been required to clarify their location.

Among those investigated without representation are the journalist Jesús Rodríguez Sellés, Jaume Cabaní, to whom Tsunami’s finances are attributed, and the banker Nicola Flavio.
