A Celebration of the Garden and Creativity
This year, the stage for creativity expands in Taradell with an innovative initiative: the 3rd Mural Art Competition, organized by the City Council in collaboration with the Heritage Board. Instead of focusing on conventional themes, this edition proposes to honor the garden and its surroundings as a source of inspiration.
Having devoted previous editions to themes such as wheat, water and the vine, this year the focus shifts to the vegetable garden and its related elements, offering a wide range of inspiration, from gastronomy to harvest rituals.
Promoting Knowledge and Preservation
This competition is not only an opportunity for urban artists to showcase their talent, but also has a deeper mission: to preserve and promote rural heritage. The initiative seeks to stimulate research, conservation and dissemination of these essential elements of local culture.
Prizes and Details of the Call
The proposals for the competition can be presented in person at the Taradell Town Hall offices from April 15 to May 17, 2024. The winner will be rewarded with a prize of €1,000, in addition to receiving financial support for to material costs, with a limit of €400.
