A Mountain Race With Great Participation
The Ultra Pallars 360 is ready to celebrate its fourth edition with the participation of more than 500 runners, mostly from all over the Catalan territory. This figure consolidates the Pallares trail race as one of the best long-distance races in the country, according to the specialist portal Ultres Catalunya. This sports event open to athletes of all levels offers four modes ranging from the Ultra Pallars 360, 91 kilometers and 4,200 meters of positive gradient, to the Entrapussada, 15 kilometers. This diversity of modalities makes the race accessible to runners of different abilities and experience levels.
A Unique and Ambitious Tour
The different modes of the race cover landscapes of great beauty and places still largely unknown to the general public. This high-level competition was born with the vocation to give Pallars a test with an ambitious route, taking advantage of the work done by the Territori Lo Podall de Tremp association and the Trenkabikers of La Pobla de Segur, who direct the paths and paths ancient Pallars Jussà. This allows participants to enjoy a unique experience in an exceptional natural environment.
A race that attracts runners from all over the country
The Ultra Pallars 360 aims to transcend borders and attract more and more runners from all over the country. In the last edition, 20% of those registered were from Pallars, 30% came from the province of Lleida and 47% from the rest of Catalonia, especially Barcelona, while 3% were foreigners, specifically from France. This diversity of participants demonstrates the appeal and projection that this sporting event has achieved.
A Commitment of Solidarity and Local Support
The organization of the race rests with the Roca Roia association, a non-profit organization that promotes the solidarity side of the Ultra Pallars 360. In addition, it has the broad collaboration of the local population, with the participation of volunteers and the support of the town halls of Pallars Jussà through which the route passes, as well as with the participation of institutions such as the Regional Council of Pallars Jussà, the Diputació de Lleida, the Orígens Geopark and the Institute for the Development of the ‘High Pyrenees and Aran (IDAPA). This local and institutional support demonstrates the importance and positive impact that the race has on the community.
