The Villa will implement green areas in exclusive parking lots for residents

Measure to improve parking

Two weeks ago, the Setmanari advanced that the Town will launch green areas in several car parks in the municipality intended exclusively for residents. This initiative responds to recent protests by residents over the lack of parking in the town. The ‘green areas’ will be enabled for residents with an ORA card, and will be located in seven car parks in the Valley, including Teixidores, Estiradors, Fuensanta, Cetre, Gran Via, Camí des Cingle and Pere Serra.

Planning and implementation

The Councilor for Infrastructure and Public Roads, Carlos Darder, has personally supervised the car parks to mark the areas designated as ‘green areas’. According to Darder, these new spaces are expected to be available before the end of June, giving residents more parking options.

Benefits for residents

This measure seeks to address the serious problem of lack of parking in the town, offering residents more options for parking their vehicles. In addition, it will be accompanied by another initiative that will allow residents with an ORA card to park in all blue zones during the summer months, further expanding parking options.
