Three women arrested for stealing from supermarkets

The authorities have arrested three women, aged 52, 30 and 25, for committing thefts in supermarkets in Figueres and Salt. Women hid food, clothes and cleaning products under their clothes. The watchman of a commercial establishment in Figueres alerted the Mossos d’Esquadra after catching the three suspects at work. The agents intervened and discovered that the arrested women had committed thefts in three supermarkets on the road to Roses and also in a shop in a shopping center in Salt.

Background and values ​​of the stolen objects

The arrested women have a history and were carrying stolen items in four commercial establishments. The value of the stolen objects amounted to 299.43 euros in the first supermarket and between 50 and 150 euros in the others. In addition, one of the women had an outstanding warrant for her arrest for a traffic safety offense.

Arrest and judicial disposition

The Mossos have arrested them as alleged perpetrators of crimes of theft and have made them available to the court on duty in Figueres on March 30. The arrested women, all with previous records, are now facing the legal consequences of their acts.
