Unity and Solidarity: The Solidarity Walk that Inspires Tarragona

A Tradition That Unites

Every year, the Muntanyeta Foundation organizes the Solidarity Walk, an activity that has become a symbol of community and support, coinciding with World Cerebral Palsy Day. This march, which has reached its 14th edition, has attracted thousands of participants, consolidating itself as an emblematic event in the Tarragona calendar.

Commitment to Inclusion

Under the motto #CaminemJunts, the walk seeks to promote the social inclusion of people with cerebral palsy and similar conditions. The Fundació la Muntanyeta is dedicated to defending the rights of this group, offering services ranging from education to health care, including accommodation and leisure activities.

In addition, this edition marks the beginning of a new chapter with the inauguration of an Occupational Workshop in Sant Pere and Sant Pau and a new residence in Bonavista planned for the end of 2025. These initiatives reinforce the foundation’s commitment to the improving the quality of life of its users.

Details of Participation and Rewards

The departure will take place on Rambla Nova, in front of the Tarragona Theatre, and the route will include a pleasant route along the Tarragona coast to the foundation’s facilities.
