An unforgettable culinary journey
From May 22, Vilanova i la Geltrú will become the scene of an exceptional gastronomic experience with the fifth edition of the gastronomic route of the Penedès Designation of Origin. This initiative, which has grown in popularity in recent editions, will bring together 28 DO Penedès wineries and 8 select restaurants to offer a unique proposal that combines high quality wines with dishes created with local ingredients.
Cellers I Restaurants: A Perfect Duet
The wineries that participate in this edition include recognized names such as Alsina Sardà, Amat Montané and Familia Torres, among others. Each dinner will be an opportunity for developers to share their passion for wine, presenting their creations and explaining their work philosophy, while attendees enjoy an unmatched gastronomic experience.
Prominent restaurants
The dishes will be made by emblematic restaurants in the city, starting with the Miramar Beach Club, which will offer a seaside menu on the day of start. Other prominent establishments include malaxic, which will bet on Mediterranean cuisine, and the Gambarrada, famous for its originality with the shrimp of Vilanova as its protagonist.
An experience that combines tradition and innovation
As the route progresses, participants will enjoy dishes that merge the Catalan tradition with contemporary touches. For example, the Ceferino restaurant will offer a combination of Catalan and seafood cuisine, while Genito will focus on innovative tapas that capture the essence of local cuisine.
