The future of Vitor Roque at Barça

One of the important decisions Hansi Flick and Deco must make is what to do with Vitor Roque, the talented Brazilian striker. Currently, Roque is in a development stage and Barça is seriously considering the possibility of loaning him out so that he can gain experience for the future. Another option is for him to stay in the team and train under Flick, who would gradually give him playing time.

Interest from other clubs

Several clubs have shown interest in Vitor Roque. Among them are Betis and Sevilla, two teams in the Spanish League that are committed to attacking football and the development of young talents. Interest has also arisen from Porto, a club with a great tradition in the development of Brazilian players and the possibility of playing in European competitions.

Naples as an option

Napoli have recently shown interest in Vitor Roque as a possible replacement for Victor Osimhen, who will leave the club this summer. The Italian team will invest the money received by Osimhen in signing a top-level forward, but is also looking for a quality substitute, a position that Roque could occupy. Although Barça welcomes this operation, since Naples would assume 100% of the player’s salary, there is a risk that Roque will not be a starter and will not have enough playing minutes for his development.

Search for a substitute striker

Meanwhile, Barça are evaluating the possibility of signing a substitute striker who can take on Vitor Roque’s role. Robert Lewandowski cannot play every game and a player is needed who can take his place. The name of Getafe’s Borja Mayoral has been mentioned as a possible option, although Deco continues to explore the market in search of alternatives that Flick likes.

Ansu Fati’s return ruled out

One option that has been ruled out is the return of Ansu Fati, who has not performed well on loan to Brighton in the Premier League. Although he started well, an injury interrupted his progression and he was left out of the coach’s plans. Fati will return to Barça and it is likely that he will go out on loan again. Sevilla have shown interest in him, at the request of García Pimienta, although there has also been speculation about interest from Arsenal and Bayer Leverkusen.
