Salou has had a memorable night with the awards ceremony of Cós Blanc 2025, an event that emphasized the dedication and imagination of the 28 groups that participated in the Rua on Saturday.
Prizes for Innovation and Tradition
In the category of best costume, the Colla Confeti has captivated the jury with its theme inspired by Lucifer, while the Bandarra gang has taken second place with its creative proposal from Zíngaros.
Comparsas that leave imprint
The gastronomic group has been the great winner in the category of best comparsa, with a proposal that referred to the iconic hostesses of the program “1, 2, 3”. Secondly, Elisabeth School has shone with its version of Ghost -Basins.
TRUELLES: A visual spectacle
The best cart has been designed by the Esplai gang, who staged the magic of El Mag d’Oz, while the group of Friends of the Festival, dressed as Mexicans and Mariachis, won deserved second position.
Recognized photographic talent
At a parallel event, the winners of the XII Photography Contest of the Festa Major de Salou, organized by the Extensive Campus of the Rovira i Virgili University and the City Council, have been revealed. The photograph that has won the first prize is “Xaloc”, by Anaïs Guerrero Serrano, followed by “Petit Giants”, by Arthur Sousa.
Tribute to an emblematic figure
The event was marked by moments of excitement, especially during the tribute to Juanma Hidalgo, the historic ‘speaker’ of Cós Blanc. Mayor Pere Granados emphasized his dedication and passion for the party, recognizing his contribution to the community.
A Missing of Unit and Release
Granados emphasized that the essence of the party is not only measured by the prizes, but also for the spirit of brotherhood and the illusion shared by all participants. It emphasized how these initiatives reinforce the identity and social cohesion of Salou.

The ceremony also recognized the work of the groups, pubillas, heirs and entities that contribute to the celebration, reaffirming the role of the Winter Festival as a driving force for unity and cultural expression in Salou.
