The XXII Contest ‘How do we see women?’ It has come to an end to great success, focusing on the relationship between women and the digital world. The winners, Vanesa González Márquez, Mireia Rubio Molin and Marina Camprubí Delgado, stood out among the 12 participants who presented their works.

The awards ceremony took place on March 29 at the Mont-Agora Center in Santa Margarida de Montbui, where an exhibition was opened with the 19 photographs presented. The organizing body noted that, despite the difficulty of the subject, the proposals were very stimulating.

From Women with Empenta, the importance of female participation in the digital world is emphasized, a space that, as they claim, must be accessible and egalitarian. “We are in the 21st century and it is crucial to address these issues,” they commented, emphasizing the right of women to participate in this field without discrimination.

First Classified: Digital Rage
Vanesa González received the first prize for his work ‘Digital Ràbia’, which highlights salary inequalities in the new technologies sector. Through his photograph, he communicated the frustration that many women feel about persistent marginalization in this area.
Second prize: Who will give the answer?
Mireia Rubio was awarded the second prize for ‘Who will give the answer?’, A work that explores the implications of artificial intelligence in daily work. His work invites to reflect on the ethical dilemmas and inequalities that this technology can generate.
Audience Award: Technology and Feminism
Marina Camprubí won the public prize with his work ‘Technology and feminism: raising the voice’, which symbolizes female empowerment through social networks. Its image has been the most popular on Instagram, highlighting the power of technology as an expression platform.
