Xàtiva Student Fair: Opportunity for academic and work guidance

30 educational and training centers participate in the event

The Education Week in Xàtiva has been marked by the participation of 30 educational and training centers, offering students a broad view of their academic and work options. The visitors, who exceeded the figure of one thousand, had the opportunity to learn about the various offers presented by the centers, in an event aimed at academic and work orientation.

Support from local authorities

Lena Baraza, Councilor for Youth at the Xàtiva City Council, has highlighted the importance of providing young people with all possible options for their future decision-making. Likewise, Amor Amorós, councilor for Education and first deputy mayor, has stressed the importance of the event as an opportunity for students to learn about educational and work opportunities, especially in the field of Vocational Training.

Participation of educational centers

Several educational centers have been present in this initiative, such as the Official Language School of Xàtiva, the Lluís Milan Conservatory, the UNED, the IES Vicente Gandía, among others. In addition to the centers, other services such as InfoJove Xàtiva, Europe Direct, the Espai Labora de Xàtiva and the Coastal-Canal Territorial Pact have also been represented.

Exhibitions and activities

During the Fair, several exhibitions and activities were held, such as a performance of the TSEAS cycle by IES Vallada, a chainsaw cutting demonstration by IES La Canal de Navarrés and ‘EFA la Malvesia, as well as workshops and other activities aimed at giving students a practical insight into the educational and employment options available.
