Young artists transform the Igualada exhibition into a space of innovation

A confluence of ideas and talents

The Igualada exhibition is approaching its most dynamic edition with the participation of more than 70 young people from various locations in Catalonia. Within this group, seventeen Anoi talents will be part of the Esma Jove group, a creative nucleus designed for those with a passion for the performing arts. Its contribution to the fair will not only be limited to its presence, but will also translate into artistic and professional actions that will enrich the event.

Innovative proposals on stage

Five members of the Young Show Group will have the opportunity to present on stage with Odyssees, an interactive proposal of mechanics. This work seeks to explore the complexities of personal and generational identity through technological means. In addition, a young artist will participate in the Museum of Time project, which invites the community to reflect on the memory and perception of the passage of time.

Debates about the future of the performing arts

Seven young people from the group will participate in a professional activity in the area Pro of the exhibition, moderated by the ERAM-UdG University School of Arts. This session is expected to be a forum to discuss the role of young people in the world of performing arts, fostering an open dialogue on their perspectives and concerns.

Current topics in young programming

The young program of this edition addresses relevant topics such as identity, social criticism, the contradictions between generations and the influence of social media. Works such as Don Roberto de Leamôk have a contemporary view of Don Juan, while Lasadcum’s Navaja reflects on affective relationships and digital influence on self -reflection and learning.

Humor and reflection on stage

The humor is present with crazy by Mariona Esplugues, who addresses the search for identity with a light and optimistic approach. In the musical field, Lizzie, the bias musical, brings the audience to an intense narrative based on a real crime, touching issues such as sexual abuse and social contradictions.

An interactive and transformative journey

Odyssey of mechanics, with its fusion of technology and narrative, promises a journey that challenges the notions of identity. Finally, Calla, Judit, Calla de Malsai Productions presents the story of a young woman who fights against the limitations of her environment in a textile factory, addressing issues of social repression and the importance of being heard.

Reflections on the future

With rich and diverse programming, the Igualada exhibition not only celebrates art, but also becomes a space for dialogue and reflection on the role of young artists in today’s society. This event is not only a platform for its voices, but also an opportunity for the community to listen and learn from new generations.
