The Catalan rider cannot compete with the new Ducati

Marc Márquez is not the fastest in MotoGP
The world of two wheels is variable and the Gresini team has made a big bet this season with the addition of Marc Márquez. The Catalan pilot has all the factors in his favor to win again, but it probably won’t be because his bike is not at the level of his rivals. And the 2024 Ducatis, the new ones, are for just four riders. Márquez will have to adapt to the 2023 version.
This means that the Catalan pilot will have an inferior machine in terms of performance. And it has already been seen in training. Marc Márquez is not done yet, but it seems difficult that he can reach the level shown by Jorge Martín or Pecco Bagnaia with the new Ducati. A perfected bike that will be much more agile than the Ducati owned by Marc Márquez.

But it is also true that Marc Márquez has not yet completely mastered the new bike and that he still has a few kilometers to go.
