Last Friday, the mayor of Mollet del Vallès, Mireia Dionisio Calé, held a meeting with the territorial delegate of the Government of the Generalitat in Barcelona, Joan Borràs i Alborch, to discuss several issues of interest to the city. During the meeting, Dionisio asked Borràs to speed up the resolution of the pending issues that the Catalan Government has with Mollet City Council.
Dionisio expressed his gratitude for Borràs’s visit and recalled “the importance of institutional cooperation to deal with those issues and those services that depend on the Generalitat and that have a direct impact on the quality of life of the people of Molletana”. . Dionisio also proposed to the territorial delegate that the Generalitat be more efficient with the pending payments it owes to Mollet City Council, “money that is mainly allocated to sectors as delicate as social services or employment”.
