A supplementary aid to cover basic expenses
Currently, in a complicated social-economic context for many families, Social Security is offering significant financial help.
With rising prices, rising inflation and other adverse circumstances, many citizens are forced to balance their finances to make ends meet.
Fortunately, the Government has launched several measures to alleviate this crisis situation.
Children’s income assistance
Within the framework of the Family Law, a very interesting aid known as parenting income has been established.
It consists of a monthly income of 100 euros granted by Social Security to families with children aged 0 to 3.
The only requirement to obtain this aid is to have a child within the specified age and meet the following categories:
Categories to qualify for childcare income
Category 1: Mothers who receive a benefit.
Category 2: Mothers with part-time or full-time employment.
Category 3: Single-parent families where one of the parents is imprisoned.
Category 4: Same-sex parents.
If you belong to one of these categories, it is likely that the Social Security will grant you the 100 euros without problems.
This aid is intended to cover basic expenses such as food, education and clothing.
Other Government support measures
In addition to the childcare allowance, the Government has implemented other aid and measures to deal with the current situation.
One of these is the Vital Minimum Income, which provides an economic ceiling to prevent poverty and avoid social exclusion.
Another is a check of 200 euros intended to compensate for the increase in prices of essential products. However, there has been some delay in the payment of this check to some beneficiaries, who are still waiting to receive it.
