Vox will expel the 5 Balearic deputies critical of the party leadership

The internal crisis of Vox in the Balearic Islands continues

The national leadership of the Vox party has responded to the sudden decision of five deputies of the parliamentary group in the Balearic Islands to expel the deputy Patricia de las Heras and the president of the Parliament, Gabriel Le Senne.

The vice president and general secretary of Vox, Ignacio Garriga, has expressed his support for de las Heras and Le Senne, announcing that he will request the immediate expulsion of the five deputies critical of the party leadership to the Guarantees Committee. Garriga has stated that the decision to expel two members of the parliamentary group has been taken unilaterally by these five deputies, without any authorization or prior information to the general leadership of the party. Furthermore, he has criticized that his action was motivated solely by personal ambitions.

Vox defends the expelled deputies

The general secretary Vox has made it clear that the party has not expelled anyone, but rather that there have been five individuals who have decided to expel those who do represent Vox Balears. Garriga has expressed his support for Patricia de las Heras and Gabriel Le Senne, highlighting that they are the ones who will fight to defend the ideas that were promised from the Balearic Islands. Furthermore, he has pointed out that it is curious that a member of Vox has been expelled just when it was about to reach a historic milestone. Le Senne was to become the first president of Parliament in the Balearic Islands to make bilingualism a reality, including communications in Spanish.

Finally, Garriga has urged the five critical deputies to reflect on their commitments and loyalties.
