The Cinquè Llac initiative and the Gratitud Pallars project have been awarded the CT-Award Connecting Cultures 2024 in the Sustainability category.
The award was presented as part of the CMT Fair in Stuttgart, held from January 13 to 21.
A total of 38 projects from around the world were presented, four of them from Catalonia.
This recognition is an opportunity to make tourism proposals with high added value known internationally.
The Fifth Lake can represent an important boost for the demarcation of Lleida as a destination for tourists from the Germanic country.
The Pallarès itinerary, of medium difficulty and aimed at adults, is promoted by the Marques de Pastor association.
The association is formed by the company Pirineu Emoció and by several rural houses in Pallars Jussà.
The Cinquè Lac product was born about 12 years ago and offers a self-guided or guided hiking route in the middle of the mountain of approximately 100 kilometers.
The itinerary is divided into five stages named after well-known local legends.
Recently, a slow version has been created with fewer hours of walking and also a mountain bike route for cycling lovers.
The Gratitud Pallars project wants to help return to nature, the landscape and the territory all the happiness they bring us.
The aim is to strengthen the links between people – locals and visitors – and the values of the territory through proposals for the protection of nature and heritage recovery.
