A new horizon on TV
The well -known presenter Jesús Vázquez returns to Telecinco to lead ‘La Noche de los Récords’, a format that challenges participants from around the world to demonstrate their skills in the search for titles by Guinness World Records. In a recent conversation, Vázquez shares his impressions about this new adventure and his journey throughout his career.
An unexpected challenge
When he was offered the direction of ‘La Noche de los Récords’, Vázquez was surprised. After years of working on a variety of formats, this program is presented as a unique experience, different from anything he has done before. “This is an opportunity to see talents you couldn’t imagine,” says the presenter.
An international atmosphere
Vázquez emphasizes that the experience of recording outside of Spain with a mainly Italian team was an added challenge. ‘We were a small group of Spaniards in a sea of Italians,’ he says with a smile, emphasizing the adaptation needed to work in such a diverse environment.
The importance of flexibility
With a long career in Mediaset, Vázquez reflects on his relationship with the chain. “After so many years, there is an understanding that allows us to explore new formats,” he says. His ability to adapt to different programs has been key in his career, and Vázquez acknowledges that each new proposal represents a new challenge.
The evolution of audiences
At present, Vázquez observes that the obsession with audiences has declined. ‘The share no longer has the same importance as before,’ he says. For him, the most relevant is the connection with the audience and the experience offered by the program, regardless of the figures.
A new life perspective
Over time, Vázquez has changed his vision on success. ‘Now I seek to live every moment,’ he shares. About 60 years old, the presenter focuses on what really matters: quality of life and personal experiences, such as traveling with her husband.
THE FUTUR DE TELECINCO
Asked about the evolution of Telecinco, Vázquez maintains an optimistic attitude. ‘The chain is still fresh and relevant,’ he says. Despite the changes, their commitment to the public and the human experiences he presents are still one of his fundamental pillars.
A constantly evolving legacy
With more than three decades on television, Vázquez reflects on his career and the memories he has created. “Each program has been an important stage in my life,” he says. And, while looking to the future, he is open to new experiences that grow him personally and professionally.
