Presentation of the 12th edition

This Wednesday, the Mossos d’Esquadra of the Central Police Region presented the 12th edition of the solidarity walk Let’s walk by your side, which will take place on Friday 10 May.

Animators and sponsors of the walk

The animator Jordi Callau presented the event together with the head of the Central Police Region, commissioner Alicia Moriana, and the sponsors of this year’s walk, the announcer and journalist Ernest Codina and the content creator Nadine Romero.

T-shirt design

Once again, the t-shirts of the walk have been designed with the slogan Let’s walk by your side, which will be used to raise money for the fight against cancer. This year it will maintain a similar design to the previous one, and they will be blue.

Route and distance

Participants will be able to show off their shirts during the route from Manresa to Montserrat, which is 25 kilometers long and follows the route of the Ignatian Way.

Fundraising

The money collected during the walk will go to the oncology services of the Althaia Foundation in Manresa, the Berga Hospital, the Vic Hospital Consortium and the Anoia Health Consortium.

Registration and participation

This year, the walk will be held again on Friday and participation will be limited. Participants will have to pay a symbolic registration that will cover the insurance of the walkers.

Results of the previous edition

During the event, the money collected in the previous edition was also handed over, which amounted to 54,836 euros. In total, 380,273 euros have been collected in all editions.

Recognitions have been given to Montepio, Stradivarius and Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat for their collaboration and commitment during all these years.

Purchase of shirts

T-shirts can now be purchased on the Fem el camí al teu costella website, at the Mossos d’Esquadra police stations in Manresa, Igualada, Vic, Berga and Solsona, at the Althaia Hospital in Manresa, at the Consorci Hospitalari de Vic, the Anoia Health Consortium and the Berga Hospital.
