Corina Mrazek: The Queen of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival 2024

A Nostalgic and Musical Carnival

On a night full of magic and music, Santa Cruz de Tenerife crowned its 2024 Carnival Queen. Corina Mrazek González, a young woman full of charm and elegance, won the coveted crown among a group of eleven talented candidates.

The event, held at the Fairgrounds, was a nostalgic trip to the musical hits of nineties television. Comedian Aaron Gómez, master of ceremonies, transported us with classic melodies such as “I’ll Be There for You” from the popular series Friends and “Hay que Venir al Sur” by Raffaella Carrà.

The Designer Santi Castro and his Fantasy

Corina Mrazek paraded with the fantasy “El Mundo”, designed by Santi Castro. This talented creator, winner of the first prize in 2022 and 2023, once again won the traditional Tenerife scepter. Representing the Añaza Carrefour shopping center, the Queen shone with her elegance and grace.

The Court of Honor

Along with Corina, the court of honor was composed of Lucia Hernandez Alonso (first lady), Ankirian Idariana Marcano (second lady), Nancy Gonzalez Bethencor (third lady) and Rosalva Morales Benitez (fourth lady).

A Tribute to Television

The Carnival Queen Gala took us on a historical tour of the small screen. The murgas, an essential part of Carnival, had their well-deserved “golden minute.” The Spanish series “Tell me how it happened” also received an emotional tribute.

Latin Rhythms and the Magic of Mónica Naranjo

The 21st century woke up with Latin rhythms thanks to Tony Tun Tun. But the most anticipated moment was the performance of Mónica Naranjo, who made the audience vibrate with her classic “Sobreviviré.” The magic of television merged with Latin passion in an unforgettable night.

The Jury and its Decision

The jury, made up of prominent figures such as Bárbara Rey, Aarón Morales, Héctor León, Alberto Dugarte and Alejandro Tosco, awarded the crown to Corina Mrazek González. A diverse panel that valued the beauty, art and elegance of the candidates.

An Event to Remember

The Carnival Queen Gala ended with enthusiasm and a good taste in the mouth. Everything experienced, from the musical classics to the tributes, will remain in the memory of those who witnessed this magical night in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
