Carlos Prieto knows the town’s municipal projects
The delegate of the Spanish Government in Catalonia, Carlos Prieto, made his first official visit to Súria this Wednesday. The representative of the central executive was welcomed by the mayor Albert Coberó at the town hall and showed his interest in the main projects that are being carried out in the municipality.
During the reception at the town hall, the mayor of Súria took the opportunity to thank the Government delegate’s visit and explain to him the projects of the Library-Cultural Center, the Integral Assistance Service in the Rural Area (SAIAR ) and the photovoltaic park of the old salt tank. The delegate of the Spanish Government has pledged to support the initiatives of the municipality and has left his signature in the Book of Honor. The event was also attended by other councilors from the Municipal Corporation and Mercè Cardona from the South, advisor to the PSC group at the Barcelona Provincial Council.
Carlos Prieto tours some areas of the town
After the reception at the town hall, the Government delegate and the mayor of Súria took a tour of some spaces in the town that will host the municipal projects. They visited the Cal Pau space, where the SAIAR will be located, and the California space, where the Library-Cultural Center will be located. The Government delegate has praised the work of the city council to promote these projects and has highlighted the importance of collaboration between administrations.
Before the visit to Súria, the Government delegate and the mayor of Súria had held a working meeting. Carlos Prieto has come to Súria after making another institutional visit to Bagà.
