The diocesan Heritage Commission of the Diocese of Lleida has made an important decision for the parishes of the diocese. In a meeting held this February, it was agreed to allocate more than 100,000 euros for repairs to the temples and abbey houses.

Help to deal with small repairs

This initiative aims to help the rectors of the different parishes of the diocese who have requested support to face small repairs to their respective temples or abbey houses. The commission has authorized these investments to guarantee the proper functioning of religious buildings.

Beneficiary parishes

Among the parishes that have requested a budget and received a financial contribution are those of Sant Llorenç, Sant Ignasi de Loiola and La Mare de Déu de Montserrat, in Lleida city. The parishes of Santa Maria de Butsènit, Sant Llorenç de Soses, Sant Bartomeu d’Alpicat, Sant Sadurní d’Alguaire, Sant Martí dels Alamús, Sant Pere Apostol de Millà, Our Lady of Roser de Corçà, have also benefited. the Assumption of Soleràs and the Assumption of Almenar.

Parochial houses

In addition to the temples, the parish houses will also receive a financial amount for their needs. The parishes of Our Lady of Carme de Lleida, Sarroca de Lleida, Alfarràs, les Borges, Alguaire, Sudanell and Corbins will benefit from this financial support.
