In the past, divorce was a privilege reserved exclusively for men. Women were trapped in indissoluble marriages, without the ability to seek their own freedom. Laws often reflected a systemic injustice that limited their options.
Access to education and professional struggle
Education was a significant breakthrough in women, but their integration into the world of work was still a challenge. The idea that men were the only capabilities to provide a salary, restricted employment opportunities for women, which were often relegated to secondary roles.
The female presence in the armed forces
Until 2013, women had limited access to combat functions in the armed forces, with restricted roles to nurses. This limitation reflected a wrong perception of his ability to actively participate in his country’s defense.
