According to a recent study carried out by the manufacturer OPPO, durability and resistance are two of the most important factors that Spanish phone users take into account when buying a new smartphone. This data is shared by 97.7% of respondents. In addition, 98% of respondents also rate battery life as a key factor in their purchase decision.

Balance between quality and price

The study prepared by OPPO also highlights that the balance between quality and price is another key factor for Spanish users, with 96.6% of respondents considering it important. Other aspects such as brand, design or camera quality are considered minor in comparison. 83% of respondents indicate that durability and optimal performance are other key issues in their purchase decision.

The smartphone as an essential device

For most users, the smartphone is the most important electronic device they use. According to the study, 70% of respondents consider it so. In addition, 45.7% of participants admit to using their smartphone for more than 4 hours a day, with young people between 18 and 24 years of age using it for the longest time. This age range indicates that they use it for about 6 hours every day. The study also reveals that 46.3% of Spaniards have had to change their smartphone at least once due to problems with the battery. In addition to the health and long-term resistance of the battery, the duration of the charge is a very important factor for 95.7% of Spaniards when choosing a mobile phone.
