Homeless count
The count was made last Thursday night and revealed that, of the total number of cases, 20 people were sleeping in the open, 28 were sleeping under cover and 9 had taken refuge in cars or vans. It is suspected that there may be more unlocated cases.

The count of homeless people in Figueres was carried out last Thursday night by the Social Services of the City Council, in collaboration with the Red Cross, the Urban Guard, CÃ riats, the NGO Tallers and Civil Protection .

This count provides a snapshot of the homeless situation in the city, although it is likely that there are more people hiding that were not found during the count. The aim of this device is to collect information to promote social policies and resources adapted to the needs of this group, as well as to analyze the evolution of the problem over time.
