The far-right pseudo-union Clean Hands
The far-right pseudo-union Clean Hands has launched a legal offensive against the entourage of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez. This organization, known for its radical political stance, has filed a complaint with a court in Badajoz against Sánchez’s brother, David Sánchez, for alleged tax crimes, embezzlement, fraud and illegal exactions. In addition, he has also included in the complaint the president of the Badajoz Provincial Council, Miguel Ángel Gallardo, and Alejandro José Cardenal, head of the Legal Support and Inspection Service of the Human Resources and Internal Regime Area of the Extremaduran supramunicipal body.
The complaint and its foundations
The complaint filed by Manos Cleans is based on an article in the newspaper El Debate, in which it is stated that David Sánchez is director of the orchestra of the Badajoz Superior Conservatory of Music and that he rarely attends his workplace at the Provincial Council of Badajoz. Badajoz. According to the pseudosyndicate, this article has not been denied, which reinforces his accusations.
Links to the Koldo case
Clean Hands has also linked Sánchez’s brother to the Koldo case, citing a report from the Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard. According to this report, the main commission agent in the scheme diverted money from illegal commissions for the sale of masks to companies based in the Portuguese town of Elvas. The pseudosyndicate highlights that Sánchez’s brother resides in this same town, suggesting a possible connection.
Investigation of Begoña Gómez
On the other hand, Pedro Sánchez’s wife, Begoña Gómez, is also being investigated by a court. Although the Civil Guard report does not find evidence of influence peddling on the part of Gómez, the judge has opened preliminary proceedings and treats her as under investigation. The Manos Cleans complaint accuses Gómez of interceding for the benefit of Air Europa, a company rescued by the Government.
