A Sustainable Edition
This Saturday begins in Madrid the first of the big festivals of the season: Elrow Town. And it does so with an edition that promises to be the most sustainable in its history. Thanks to a recent agreement with an energy company, the event will have multi-energy solutions to reduce the CO2 footprint.
Multienergy solutions
Among the multi-energy solutions, the use of 100% renewable fuel provided by the company stands out, which will reduce CO2 emissions. In addition, free solar-powered charging stations will be provided for attendees’ mobile phones and electric vehicles will be provided for production equipment mobility.
Promoting Circularity
The festival also promotes circularity in its operation. All the cooking oil used in the ‘foodtrucks’ will be reused for the production of renewable fuels. This demonstrates the festival’s commitment to sustainability and reducing environmental impact.
An Agreement With Impact
This initiative is part of an agreement reached with several music promoters to promote multi-energy solutions in more than 70 events. This will make it possible to significantly reduce carbon emissions and contribute to the fight against climate change.
The Future of Festivals
Festivals are increasingly popular in Spain, and it is important that these events measure and reduce their environmental impact. With initiatives like Elrow Town Madrid 2024, it is shown that it is possible to celebrate festivals in a sustainable and innovative way, being an example for other similar events.
