Construmat 2024: Bigger and with greater exhibition offering
Construmat, Fira de Barcelona’s construction show, has taken a big step forward in its edition this year. From May 21 to 23, the event will have an exhibition offering 50% greater than in previous years. More than 300 exhibitors and 600 brands will participate in Construmat 2024, occupying a space of 10,000 m². This broad presence makes Construmat the most representative and transversal event of the construction sector in Spain.
Sustainability and innovation as protagonists
This year’s edition of Construmat, number 23, has sustainability and innovation as its main protagonists. The event will focus on presenting the latest developments in machinery, tools, industrialized construction, design and interior design, among other aspects. In addition, topics such as energy efficiency, the rehabilitation of the housing stock and the management of the environmental impact of construction activity will be addressed. To this end, 50 presentations and 15 round tables will be held.
International presence and guest country
Construmat 2024 will not only have broad national representation, but will also have a notable international presence. Exhibiting companies from 18 countries, such as Germany, Belgium, China, Egypt, France, Italy and Poland, will be present at the event. In addition, Morocco will be the guest country of Construmat 2024, with an official trade mission made up of seven companies, six sector federations and colleges of architects and associations of builders and developers.
Opportunities for startups
Construmat also offers a great opportunity for emerging companies in the sector. The event will feature the PropCon Hub, a space dedicated to startups that use digital technology in construction and real estate management. This space will offer visibility to 20 startups and will feature presentations by experts in innovation in construction, from sustainable prefabrication to the use of artificial intelligence.
