A more realistic voice assistant experience
The introduction of the new ChatGPT has reminded many of the movie ‘Her’ (2013), as the chatbot can now respond in real time and provide sound and video. Although the current voice functionality is limited and can only respond to one request at a time, it has been praised for its realism. Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, has said that the new voice and video mode is the best computer interface he has ever used and that it looks like something out of an AI movie.

The new ChatGPT not only offers an improved voice experience, but can also perform simultaneous translation in 50 languages, participate in video conferences, and describe what you see through a phone’s camera. Additionally, you can recognize emotions and adapt your speech to sound more realistic. It also has the ability to remember previous conversations with each user. OpenAI will offer a free version of ChatGPT, as well as a more complete paid version.
