Why is the time change?
The time change has its roots in the need to unify the timetable in Spain. At the beginning of the 20th century, the country had as many time zones as provinces, causing significant time lags. This led to the unification of the timetable and, subsequently, the establishment of daylight savings time as an energy saving measure.
