Citizens living in Spain do not believe that the victory of the leader of the PSC, Salvador Illa, in the last elections of May 12 is the end of the independence process for Catalonia.
Although independence has lost its absolute majority for the first time since 2015 and nationalism has lost seats for the first time since 1980, a GAD3 poll for the ABC newspaper reveals that 55% of Spaniards consider the election results not they mean the end of the process. Opinions of voters
According to the survey, only Podemos voters believe that the independence process is over, with 48% in favor and 33% against. The survey also shows that 54.9% of respondents are against the approval of the amnesty law, while only 32.5% are in favor of it. However, there is growing support among PSOE voters, with 57% in favor and 30% against.
