Barça is looking for reinforcements for next season

The challenge of consolidating the workforce

Futbol Club Barcelona is working to strengthen its squad for next season. After a disappointing season, the club wants to aspire to win titles again and therefore it is crucial to consolidate its team.

With the arrival of coach Hansi Flick, Barça hopes to start a new era and that is why it is important that training starts soon. However, training will not be enough, as the club also needs to make important signings to strengthen the team.

Possible signings and financial difficulties

Despite the club’s aspirations, president Joan Laporta is aware of the financial difficulties that Barça is currently facing. Therefore, it will be necessary to make great efforts to achieve the desired signings.

One of the strategies to solve the financial problems is to apply the 1:1 rule, which allows the club to sign new players without impediments. However, to be able to make these signings, Barça needs to obtain income and this involves selling players.

In this sense, there has been speculation about the possible departures of the players Ferran Torres and Raphinha. The club hopes to obtain a figure close to 100 million euros with these sales, although this will not be easy to achieve.

Interest in Dani Olmo

One of the operations that Barça could carry out with the income obtained from the sales is the incorporation of Dani Olmo. After his outstanding performance in the European Championship, the player has attracted the attention of several European clubs, among them Barça.

Barca sporting director Deco has reportedly stepped up talks with RB Leipzig to sign Dani Olmo before his €60m release clause expires in the middle of this month.

Dani Olmo is a versatile player who can perform in various positions on the pitch and would be a valuable addition to the team led by Hansi Flick.
