Club Gimnàstic Osona achieves great results
The Osona Gymnastics Club has achieved great success in the Spanish Artistic Gymnastics Championship, held at the Navarra Arena in Pamplona. The loanees Jordi Capdevila, Eloi Matas and Yann Sánchez shine in the competition
Manlleuver gymnasts Jordi Capdevila, Eloi Matas and Yann Sánchez have been the main protagonists of this championship. Jordi Capdevila has been proclaimed runner-up of Spain in the Base 3 Category, obtaining medals in different apparatus such as floor, jump, rings and parallel bars. Eloi Matas has obtained the title of Spanish Runner-Up in the Base 2 Category and has excelled in the pommel horse apparatus with bows and rings. Yann Sánchez has achieved an outstanding 8th position overall in the Base 3 Category, as well as excelling in the pommel horse and parallel bars.
Men’s and women’s team highlights
The men’s team of Club Gimnàstic Osona, formed by Roger Guiu, Pep Planella, Sergi Orriols and Daniel Mendieta, has won a total of 11 individual medals, in addition to a gold medal in the team competition of the Base Category 3. As for the women’s team, the VO7 gymnasts, made up of Mireia Coromina, Ariadna Piella, Arlet Jiménez and Ainhoa Salavedra, have achieved an outstanding 4th position (https://www.softcatala.org/resum-de -catalan-texts/).

The Osona Gymnastics Club’s women’s section has obtained good results in the Spanish Championship. The gymnasts Irati Solagaistua, Mariona Boixader, Arlet Pérez, Sònia Pallàs, Elena Llabina, Núria Sala, Margot Casals, Mireia Coromina, Ariadna Piella, Arlet Jiménez and Ainhoa Salavedra have been part of the women’s team, competing in different categories of the competition .
