If you are an unemployed person between the ages of 30 and 55 and have exhausted your benefits, there is good news for you. The State Public Employment Service (SEPE) has implemented five new aid that could mean a monthly income of almost 500 euros, as long as you meet the established requirements. It is essential that the beneficiaries do not receive income greater than 723.75 euros per month, which is equivalent to 75% of the Minimum Interprofessional Wage.

Help for family responsibilities

This aid is aimed at people who have exhausted their unemployment benefit and have minor children or older children with a disability of 65% or higher. In addition, it is necessary to commit to an active job search. The duration of this aid varies depending on the age of the applicant and the length of time they have received the contributory unemployment benefit.

Subsidy for people over 45 years of age

Unemployed people over 45 years of age who do not have family responsibilities can apply for this subsidy, which has a maximum duration of 6 months without the possibility of extension.

Subsidy for people over 52 years of age

For unemployed people over 52 years of age who have exhausted their unemployment benefit and do not have income, there is the possibility of receiving a subsidy of 480 euros.

Active Insertion Income (RAI)

This benefit is intended for those who have exhausted all previous aid and are under 52 years of age, and can be received for a maximum of 33 months.

Extraordinary unemployment benefit

The SEPE offers an extraordinary unemployment subsidy for people who have exhausted other aid, including the Active Insertion Income, with a duration of 6 months without the possibility of extension.
