A solidarity day for inclusion
The Santfeliuenc CF men’s first team is preparing to play an exciting charity match this Wednesday 27 at 7 p.m. On this occasion, the match will be against the winning team of the last edition of the Kings League, the X-Buyer Team. The aim of this day is to raise funds to continue subsidizing the team of people with functional diversity at Santfeliuenc CF, known as “Santfe Ilusión”.
A growing inclusive project
About a year ago, Santfeliuenc CF launched its inclusive mixed team “Santfe Ilusión”. After its successful participation in the “We League”, the sports club has seen the need to continue supporting this project. With the arrival of the X-Buyer Team, a unique opportunity presents itself to raise funds and ensure the continuity of this inclusive team.
Local support and community engagement
Jesús Manuel Gil, treasurer of Santfeliuenc CF, highlighted the constant increase in people interested in joining this initiative. Currently, the team has 14 players signed to play, but interest continues to grow. With the possibility of opening a second team for next season, the club is committed to continuing to support this cause.
An opportunity to contribute
With a symbolic cost of €1 per entry, the whole public is invited to participate in this day of solidarity. In addition to enjoying an exciting Football 7 match, all attendees will be contributing to the fight against social exclusion in the field of sport. In addition, several raffles will be held during the event, including Addidas brand boots and a Puma ball signed by all the players on the X-Buyer Team.
A sporting event for the whole community
The long-awaited match will take place at Les Grasses Municipal Field at 7 p.m. The event will have the dynamism and animation of the Sant Feliuen speaker of the first men’s team and collaborator of Ràdio Sant Feliu, Iker Gil.
