The Martinelia CP Manlleu in the European women’s competition

Group draw for the Women’s European League

Martinelia CP Manlleu has been assigned to group B in the European women’s competition, along with teams such as Palau, Cerdanyola, Sanjoanense and Roller Matera. The draw took place in Paredes, Portugal, conducted by the European Roller Hockey Committee (WSE-RH).

Details of the competition

The European Women’s League will begin on October 23, where the two best teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals. Manlleu will have the first day off and Palau will play against Roller Matera at home. Other confrontations include the Voltregà vs. Noisy Le Grand and Cerdanyola vs. Sanjoanense

Absence of clubs in the Men’s European League

The decision of twelve clubs, such as Barça, Reus, Noia and Caldes, not to participate in the Men’s European League has been highlighted. Despite an initial agreement between the European Club Association (EHCA) and the federation, the format of the competition has been changed to four groups of five teams, with a single round, leaving these teams out of the competition.
