The Photoprix Vic is about to surprise in the final of the Queen’s Table Tennis Cup. Last Sunday, the Vigata team was proclaimed runner-up in an exciting final against the almighty Cartagena, although they were about to pull off a surprise. Enric Roca, president of the Photoprix Vic, is very satisfied with the competition his players did.
Outstanding individual performance
On an individual level, Sara Ramírez, player of the Vic Fotoprix, had an outstanding performance proclaiming herself champion of Spain. In addition, he won the doubles title partnering with Anna Badosa. The player showed a great level of play, winning the final against Zhu Fang and also excelling in the doubles draw.
Other outstanding results
Nadina Riera, another player from the Vigata club, reached the quarter-finals of the individual section, being eliminated by her teammate Sara Ramírez. In the doubles group, Riera took third place in a pair with the Balearic Marta de la Vega.
