The Catalan police, the Mossos d’Esquadra, captured at the beginning of February an individual who raped a 13-year-old girl in Tarragona. The man, who followed her to near her high school, caught her and sexually forced her. He then threatened to kill her and her family if she told what had happened.

The girl, who was traumatized by the abuse, remained silent for three days for fear of reprisals from the aggressor. But on February 4, when he saw that the man was hanging around his area again, he decided to alert the Mossos d’Esquadra. The police quickly attended the scene and identified the man, who was arrested and brought before the judge.
