The common makes a decision
The municipality of Sant Julià has taken an important decision regarding the planned walkway to the Rocafort dovecote. According to the Consul Major from Laureate, Cerni Cairat, this decision was taken due to budgetary and project issues. The cost of the footbridge amounts to 400,000 euros, an amount that the community considers too high
Modification of the agreement
The previous majority of UL had signed an agreement with the Government for the construction of this infrastructure, but the current corporation has decided to modify the agreement. Commitment to redo the pigeon house
Despite the decision to discard the footbridge, the commune of Sant Julià has reached an agreement with the Government for the reconstruction of the Rocafort dovecote. This decision will mean a modification of the previously signed agreement
Connection over the river
The current corporation will study how the connection will be made over the river to reach the Rocafort pigeon house. This question is left conditional for the future, and the best option for the connection will be taken into consideration
