The UdG hosts the third edition of the TTM, an event for professionals and students in the tourism and hospitality sector

Next Thursday, February 29, the University of Girona (UdG) will be the setting for a day dedicated to analyzing and promoting satisfaction and motivation in the working world of tourism and hospitality. This is the third edition of Tourist Talent Management (TTM), an initiative promoted by the Jordi Comas Matamala Foundation, in collaboration with the CETT Foundation and the Climent Guitart Foundation, which aims to contribute to the creation of a pact for tourist talent in Catalonia, making it a model for other destinations.

The TTM is a meeting and learning space for professionals and students of tourism and hospitality, who want to know, debate and apply strategies to improve the working climate and make working in this sector more attractive, key to economic and social development of the country. The conference, which will take place at the Faculty of Law of the UdG (Montilivi Campus), will be entitled “Satisfaction and motivation in the world of work: experiences and strategies in the tourism and hospitality sector” and will be moderated by Jordi Degree, journalist and president of the board of Girona of the College of Journalists of Catalonia.

The pillars of occupational well-being in the tourism and hotel sector

The day will be based on four main axes: the fundamental bases of occupational well-being, the specific challenges for its application, successful innovations and current and future challenges and requirements. With these topics, we want to offer tools and resources to understand and improve the satisfaction and motivation of workers in the tourism and hospitality sector, as well as to build loyalty and retain talent.

The day will have the participation of several experts in the field of tourism, hospitality, people management and communication, who will present their experiences and strategies in this area. In addition, the exchange of ideas and opinions between attendees will be facilitated, with the aim of generating a constructive and enriching debate.
