The Minister of Justice, Félix Bolaños, defends his honesty and that of the PSOE in the face of questions from the opposition

The Minister of Justice, Félix Bolaños, declared this Wednesday in Congress that the Spanish government did not have information about the ‘Koldo case’, a plot of alleged corruption in the purchase of health equipment during the pandemic, because it was under the secrecy of summary “Corruption causes me rejection, because politics and the public is the opposite, personal, professional and economic resignation, for the good of the citizenry”, he said in Congress. “Don’t be imprudent, the PP has had dozens, hundreds of cases of corruption. There have been leaders of the PP who have plundered without scruples and they have had the support of you, the PP. With this history of hundreds of cases of corruption not if it occurs to me to impute them to you, it must be justice”, he added from Congress.

Bolaños denies that any member of the current executive has anything to do with the ‘Koldo case’ and recalls that Vox has also had cases of corruption

Bolaños answered several questions from the PP and Vox about the ‘Koldo case’ in the control session held this morning. In one of Santiago Abascal, the minister has denied that any member of the current government is related to this network of alleged corruption in the purchase of health equipment during the pandemic. Likewise, he recalled that Vox “in its short history” has already had a case of corruption and is not about to teach “lessons”.

“There is no one, neither the right nor the ultra-right, to question the integrity and honesty of the PSOE or any of its leaders,” the minister emphasized. For his part, the popular Miguel Tellado has regretted that the PSOE “disgusts with corruption” but “lives with it”. “Koldo has already fallen, they have brought down Ábalos and now the shadow of doubt hangs over different colleagues in his party”, he expressed.

The spokeswoman for Vox, Pepa Millán, accuses the PSOE of “making money” with corrupt plots during the pandemic

In the case of Vox, spokeswoman Pepa Millán has affirmed that the PSOE “made money” with corrupt plots during the pandemic. “Illa, then Minister of Health, gave preference to Koldo’s company despite the fact that it sold masks six times more expensive,” said spokeswoman Pepa Millán. “It’s not the ‘Koldo case’ it’s the ‘PSOE case'”, he concluded.
