Key Date for the Start of Ticket Sales
The Teatre Principal de Palma will open its doors to its new season with the sale of tickets and season tickets on Monday 26 August from 12.00 noon for online purchase. The physical sale at the box office will begin on Wednesday, September 4.
Commitment to the Majorcan Public
With the intention of attracting a diverse audience and promoting the appreciation of the performing arts, the Teatre Principal has designed an offer of discounts and passes. This initiative seeks to involve especially those who do not usually attend the performances.
A Program Full of Quality Shows
The new season promises a spectacular selection of cultural events. Among the outstanding plays, we find ‘Le congrès ne marche pas’ by La Calòrica, as well as ‘El zoo de vidre’, a production by La Perla 29. In addition, ‘L’adversari’, starring Pere Arquillué, and ‘La paella dels dijous’, a comedy with Llum Barrera, will bring variety to the poster.
Music and Opera for All
Music lovers will be able to enjoy the performances of artists such as Antonio Sánchez and Chano Domínguez with Martirio. In the opera field, ‘Turandot’ will be one of the outstanding proposals. Also included are family shows such as ‘La gata que quería cambiar la historia’, designed to entertain both children and adults.
Subscription Options and Attractive Discounts
To facilitate access to the program, the Teatre Principal offers several subscription options with significant discounts. The General pass allows a 25% discount on the purchase of three or four shows, while the Extra pass provides 40% for five or more shows.
New Initiatives for Families
One of the great attractions this season is the Intergenerational pass, designed for families who want to attend family shows together, with a 25% discount for two tickets.
Special Discounts for Different Groups
The Main Theater also offers a general discount of 20% for people over 65, with disabilities, job seekers, as well as for large families and single parents. For children under 30 and large groups, a special 50% discount applies.
Improvements in the Spectator Experience
With the aim of improving your experience, the Main Theater has made several improvements. All weekend functions will begin at 6:00 p.m., with free playroom service for children. In addition, the rooms have been renovated to guarantee better visibility from all seats.
Flexibility in the purchase of tickets
Spectators will be able to benefit from a ticket exchange service, which will allow them to exchange their selection for another show by paying a fee of 5 euros.
