Hundreds of people demonstrate in front of the TSJC in Barcelona
This Saturday, hundreds of people took to the streets to show their rejection of the prison order for Dani Gallardo, an anarchist activist who participated in the mobilizations against the sentence of the trial in Madrid in October 2019.
Omnium Cultural calls the protest
The rally was called by Omnium Cultural, which wanted to express its support for Gallardo and denounce the “fierce repression of the State”. From the cultural entity they have affirmed that “we will always be by your side, Dani!” and have demanded their freedom.
Gallardo, sentenced to 4 years in prison
Dani Gallardo was ordered to go to prison this week by the Provincial Court of Madrid, after having exhausted all the resources to defend himself. The young man from Madrid has been sentenced to 4 years in prison for protesting against the sentence of the trial, in a clear example of the criminalization of social protest.
